Terms & Conditions
The No Name Mattress Company LTD is a company registered in England.
Registered office: THE NO NAME MATTRESS COMPANY LTD
Company Registration No: 16941609
1. Products
All descriptions of our mattresses are correct at the time of publication.
All of our mattresses are manufactured in the UK and are supplied in industry-standard sizes available at the time of purchase.
We operate a policy of continuous product development and therefore reserve the right to amend product specifications without prior notice in relation to future sales. Any such changes will not affect products that have already been purchased.
2. Measurements
All measurements are rounded to the nearest whole inch. Every care is taken to ensure all measurements are correct at the time of publication.
Mattress sizes may vary slightly from the stated dimensions when new and may settle to their full size with use. Minor variations in size may also occur depending on mattress construction. A tolerance of up to 1.5” may apply.
3. Pricing
All prices include VAT at the applicable rate. We reserve the right to adjust VAT if the rate changes.
Prices are correct at the time of publication. In the unlikely event that a price has been advertised incorrectly, we will contact you to ask whether you wish to proceed at the correct price. If you do not wish to proceed, or we are unable to obtain your instructions, the order will be cancelled and a full refund issued.
4. Warranty
Our mattresses come with a 5-year coverage period using a traditional pro-rata model (5-year guarantee / 5-year warranty).
-
Years 1–5: Any faulty mattress will be replaced at no cost to the customer.
The warranty covers manufacturing or material defects that result in excessive dipping of materials or springs.
Mattresses purchased from the CLEARANCE section of the website come with a 2-year guarantee only.
The warranty does not cover:
-
Comfort preference
-
Fair wear and tear
-
Neglect, misuse or abuse
-
Fabric fading due to sunlight
-
Damage caused by external factors (including bed bugs, moths, mould, bodily fluids, pets, or soiling)
We strongly recommend the use of a mattress protector.
The following are considered cosmetic issues and are not faults:
-
Tuft or button movement
-
Settlement or indentation in sleeping areas
(Regular rotation and, where applicable, flipping is required. Hybrid models require rotation only.)
Warranties are void if:
-
The mattress is placed on a damaged or unsuitable base
-
Slatted bases have gaps greater than 100mm (4”) or slats are less than 6cm wide
-
The mattress has not been maintained in accordance with care instructions
(Weekly rotation for the first 3 months, then every 4 weeks thereafter)
This warranty applies only to mattresses delivered to the UK mainland. If a mattress is removed from the mainland UK, the customer is responsible for any associated shipping costs should a warranty claim be made.
In some cases, a third-party inspection may be arranged. The inspector’s decision will be final.
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
5. Sleep Trials
Our 90 Day Sleep Trial applies to all standard mattresses and may be activated by the original purchaser within 90 days of delivery. We recommend allowing at least 15 days to adjust to your new mattress.
You may exchange your mattress once for another model. If you choose a higher-value mattress, the price difference will be payable.
The Sleep Trial does not apply where:
-
The mattress has been misused or damaged
-
The mattress has been soiled
-
There is evidence of neglect or excessive wear
The Sleep Trial is limited to one exchange per order and is available only to customers in Mainland UK.
The Sleep Trial does not apply to customers in Northern Ireland.
6. Payment
Payment is due in full at the point of sale.
Once full payment has been received, ownership of the mattress passes to you. We remain responsible for the product until delivery has taken place.
By completing a purchase, you confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
8. Delivery
Delivery typically takes between 5 and 15 working days. While we aim to meet estimated delivery times, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
Standard delivery is free of charge and includes a two-person delivery to your room of choice, arranged 3–5 days in advance.
It is your responsibility to ensure access is suitable for delivery, including doorways, staircases and lifts.
Please inspect your mattress upon delivery and report any damage immediately to the delivery team and to us within a reasonable timeframe.
Delivery to Northern Ireland incurs a £99 surcharge. Once delivered, we do not offer upgrades, exchanges, sleep trials or returns to Northern Ireland unless the product is faulty.
